00:06: When we started out we were pioneers of home education in this country. Having to go march up and down, picketing outside government, parliament, with banners saying “I’m a mom and I want to teach my own children.” And eventually getting the law changed together with a couple of other families that were convicted and called by God as well. So it goes all the way back to then. And there we were, just us, with the Word of God and we were going to home educate because God told us to. And then all of a sudden, withina very short window of time here we have reams of home educating suppliers that you can choose from.

00:41: So just keep going. Go one back, do you know how to do that? Well done…

[laughter]

00:47: He says he’s gifted.

[laughter]

00:48: We know that.

[laughter]

00:50: So, how many is it? The last number there?

00:54: 25

00:56: Well that’s just a smattering of them. There are many, many more than 25 resource providers that you can choose from for home education. Maybe 50 or more. So just to show you what actually happened in the years and the way God birthed His heart and His vision for families to be at home, to now this huge spectrum of choices. And so now home educators… we are helping home educators in a whole different way to what we were 20 years ago or 15 years ago only whereas, before they were feeling a calling and a conviction and now there’s a whole multitude of reasons why people are home educating.

01:30: And so then they’re faced with all these different options. And you can either go with the option of a straight academic school at home, or mixed curricula, or a specific philosophy of learning, or some that have a very strong vision and calling that they feel that they need to help with their families. And so it becomes more vision than actually about the education or the knowledge or what content is being covered but more about a lifestyle and a life calling.
